The best part of this project was learning about Casey’s business.  Electronics recycling is essential to preserve our environment.  I am confident that the new site, and lead capture strategy will be a big success!

I have never built a Web site where lessons weren’t hard learned.  The biggest on the Charney project have been…always build on open source, there’s no such thing as plug and play, and there’s always someone with more experience who can help, it’s just a matter of finding them!   I also learned how to go outside of my comfort zone and do a “tiny” bit of programming…plugin installs and creating Facebook application integration isnt’ easy!  I am happy the site is finally in soft launch, and am looking forward to the new database back end coming on line soon so we can step on the gas!  

It’s great knowing Life123.com is a brand that continues to drive traffic for IAC and ASK.com!   The site that started with a lunch time “pitch idea” has grown into the 99.9th percentile of most trafficked sites.  It will be interesting to see what happens next!
